Iwo Jima Monument
I was honored to restore the original sculpture by Felix De Weldon of the Marines raising the flag on Mt. Suribachi and also to paint the backdrop for the exhibit (showing a missing-man formation fly-over Iwo)aboard the Intrepid Museum in New York, for the 50th Anniversary of that event--this photo shows the extent of the restoration
